I know LOADS of players who sell their accounts after a while. That being said, they don't sell for profit at all. I have several friends who spend anywhere from 1000 to 10,000 dollars on their accounts, then sell for 300-1500 dollars. So saying they sell for profit is a load of crap. There are some who build and sell accounts without coining them in the first place, but that happens later on the server. I don't agree with that way of doing it, but when someone sells an account for 10% of what they put into it, I don't really see that as a problem. My friends don't advertise in WC though.
Its Cool, I have got a biiiiiiiig boy evony age 1 account for yall. Please email me at [email protected] BUY MY GAME!!!
So I agree that the ones openly advertising in WC as well as in mails and such in-game should get banned. This happens in every game out there today. They all have players breaking the rules to get ahead or make some money back. Truthfully, who cares. So what if players want to sell their accounts. They put their money and their time into them and if at the end when they no longer want to play thae game or that server, and some other player can find a value in that account that can be transated into $$$, why the he11 not sell it and make some of the investment u have put in back.On another note.
If everyone who complains on these forums has seriously been playing legit for 3 full years then koodos to u. Also u have NO LIFE.Well selling accounts IS strictly against the rules. I know of at least one guy who got publicly banned on these very forums by admitting he had sold his heroes in the past. So yes people if they catch you you will be served a notice of closure on your account. One thing no one has actually mentioned is that you don't own your account.
It's in the ToS if you care to read it, Evony clearly state that any account is still legally their property and reserve the right to suspend or close any account that has been abused. To coin a past phrase it's like renting a car and then selling it on to another buyer. Yes you invested the rental charge but the vehicle wasn't yours to sell in the first place. If you do choose to coin which I might add is completely down to the players discretion. There are plenty of players who don't and still succeed at building up top accounts. As for the epic amount of rule breaking, well until the attitude of 'everyone does it' or 'because I'm entitled to a life' changes neither will the players.
